The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It by Michael E. Gerber

The statistics are all over the place regarding the failure rate of small business.  No matter what the actual percentage of small businesses that fail every year, the actual number is too high.

In the book The E-Myth Revisited: Why Most Small Businesses Don’t Work and What to Do About It by Michael E. Gerber, readers are told about ways owners of small businesses can avoid becoming a part of that statistic.

Gerber researched different successful businesses that started small to find out what the successful businesses had in common with each other and what was missing from those companies that did not make it.

This book is very well written and is presented in a way that the lessons taught should stick with the reader.

If you are in business for yourself or are planning to start one, The E-Myth Revisited should be a part of your reading.
